As a professional engineer, I spent nearly 20 years planning, designing and overseeing the construction of stormwater infrastructure for numerous developments throughout the Front Range of Colorado. Prior to my career as an engineer, I worked for my family’s industrial maintenance company, learning the specific skills, equipment and techniques associated with facility maintenance. Sustainable Runoff Solutions is the resulting marriage from my experience.
Within the last decade, I witnessed an increased focus on sustainable methods for managing stormwater, including improving water quality and decreasing volume by promoting infiltration. This effort to reduce the impact of development and match the natural water cycle is benefiting the health of our waterways, but as these newer systems function the need for maintenance, life cycle cost planning and municipal compliance are increasing.
My background as a practicing professional engineer with facility maintenance experience provides me the specific knowledge to offer cost-effective asset management services and maintenance solutions to keep your stormwater infrastructure functioning correctly and effectively. I started Sustainable Runoff Solutions to provide the specific services required to keep stormwater facilities maintained and ultimately to help keep the water my family and I play in clean.
